The Let’s Dance Club of Kelowna  has been providing a venue for Ballroom Dance, Latin dance and Social Dance since 1992.We are an organization made up of energetic enthusiastic volunteers who organize affordable and quality dancing in Kelowna.

Ballroom Dance is a popular recreational activity providing  many benefits.   Research shows that there are a number of reasons why dancing is  such a great activity.  It provides a venue for meeting people and having fun but it also helps:

. improves balance and coordination
. stimulates the brain

. creates an opportunity for self-expression and
. it is a great way to exercise.

We play a variety of music and dance styles.  The Ballroom Dances … Waltz, Tango,  Foxtrot, Quickstep and Viennese Waltz.
The Latin Dances …  Cha Cha, Rumba,  Jive, Salsa, Mambo and Samba.  The Social Dances … West Coast Swing,  Night Club Two Step,
Argentine Tango, and  an occasional Two Step.  We also have  Ballroom Line Dance so you can practice your steps.  You can often dance
more  than one dance style to the music selected so no need to worry that  you only know a few dances.

Our dances start with a dance lesson at 7:30 which is included in the cost of admission.

Throughout the year we have special dances e.g. our Christmas pot luck supper, Valentines, Canada Day, Halloween, and Elvis’s Birthday etc.

We are part of a very active dance community in Kelowna and enjoy welcoming visitors and new members.
